As I mentioned in my last post, I’ve decided to embark on a new project. In the Summer of 2021, I’m going to build a book from scratch, and take you along with me on the journey.
Before I start to tell you about the project I have in the works, I wanted to share why I decided to go public with my process. I want to tell you about the book that forever changed my thoughts on how to be a creative out in public.
As an author, it can sometimes be hard to know WHAT to share on social media. There are only so many posts I can make of photos of my morning tea, right? Especially given the fact that we’re coming out of a pandemic, where I haven’t been making much, I was trying to figure out: how could I wake up my social media accounts? Then I remembered a book I read years ago that has always stuck with me (and ultimately inspired this Build-A-Book project.)
